From: Mr Serkiz
I had to remove the last post.
Again. I was not trying to imply anything about the Cheng's Assistant other than people in torts were becoming frustrated with his commentary.
In no way should this had been read as disparaging his character, or that he doesn't overall contribute positively to the class.
He understandably took offense at what I thought would be read by a handful of people who would have seen it in the context it was meant.
Cheng's assistant and I have since resolved the misunderstanding. He's a reasonable, articulate and genuinely nice guy.
I've removed the post because I believed some of the comments were needlessly cruel to him and others read far too much into the situation exacerbating the "drama."
I have never meant to be anonymous. The link to the blog is attached to my AIM profile which I give out freely. I don't advertise who I am because I never saw the need.
It seems though some commenter thought it necessary to do it for me.
So anyway, my apologies again.
The post wasn't written in the mean spirit it was perceived and the comment left by Cheng's Assistant didn't warrant the reaction it received.
Hopefully this is behind us.
I have a memo (to) finish.
Good luck on yours.

(This was a fascinating lesson on the type of drama something so innocent could spark in a social community so insular, sectarian and pressured to perform.......)

"I have a memo finish."
Just make sure you proofread your memo a little closer ;)
yes. good point. thanks.
i think that every class at every law school has an "assistant." it's part of the culture that is law school. commenting on it shouldn't be seen as so personal. here's an interesting entry on another type of law school kid...the vultures
Just noticed you removed the post... I hope that wasn't only for my benefit. Once things were cleared up, I was completly comfortable with it. Oh, and thank you for your kind words. Never thought of myself as a articulate.
Best of luck on your memo.
I like that vultures thing. We have those in our class.
Make up sex?
i like to piss in this guys gas tank
I think the hype is all for not... pee? gas tank? what?
You ran scared. Score one for Mr. Rouss.
Someone clue Cheng into this.
The thing is--what everyone fails to miss--it's the verbal learners who will have so many of us beat. Why go to class? To watch the people who can do it work out their thoughts in front of the prof and a captive and irritated audience. I'm a fan of Cheng's Assistant and all his ilk: if you stop to watch and listen, you'll realize that while you're slogging your way through two hours of torts reading in a futile effort to not get it, they're spending two minutes in torts class chatting with Cheng and working out 80% of the material through talking. 'Course, that skill can always lead to overconfidence...
And BTW, C's A is a genuinely nice and sincere fellow, unlike so many others of your classmates.
